Ground Beef Casserole:

The ground beef casserole is one of our most favorite dishes that we thoroughly enjoy even on busy weeknights. The cheesy goodness and vegetables make it a lip-smacking dish. So let's dig into the recipe.

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • ¾ cup mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans of green beans
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Add ground beef in a cast-iron skillet and cook until the color changes to brown then drain the excess grease.
  3. Add cream cheese then stir until cheese gets melted.
  4. Add beef broth, heavy cream, soy sauce, salt, and pepper, and cook over medium heat until the mixture begins to thicken.
  5. Once thicken reduce the heat and simmer for few minutes.
  6. Then add canned beans on top along with cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.

You can also add broccoli instead of beans or any other veggie of your choice. Instead of beef, you can also use ground turkey or chicken mince, etc. For more flavor, you can also add paprika powder or oregano powder as well.
